Who is nixtape?
My name is Nick but I go by nixtape online. I live and breathe video games, from the moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep (sometimes I dream about esports/video games too). My journey started in 2011 when I began creating YouTube gaming content and venturing into live streaming on Justin.tv before it became Twitch, eventually taking a backseat approach and just watching things unfold. I have since done a lot of different things for various organizations such as social & digital marketing work, brand marketing, marketing strategy, and even gaming internet cafe consulting.
Why should I subscribe?
If you’re interested in hearing what other people have to say about different topics within esports/gaming, pop culture, technology, and a ton of other topics then this newsletter is for you. I plan on being (slightly) controversial in my ideas and takes, thought provoking in the things I say, and I want to keep things fresh and interesting. A lot of what you’ll see here is stuff that lives in my brain on a daily basis that I just need to get out into the world, and I welcome you to join in on the conversation.

Beyond this newsletter I have a few social media accounts that I tend to use for similar reasons (mostly updates, sharing things, or content). Besides social media, however, I also love networking, having discussions, and offering ideas (or consultation) to people who are trying to really change and revolutionize this space.
